Business Law, especially mergers & acquisitions, contracts and business valuations are readily handled by Markku with his long expertise. Markku has carried out many successful mergers and acquisitions and has also experience as a board member in several companies. His other areas of expertise are shareholder agreements, executive employment contracts as well as non-disclosure agreements. he also has successfully overseen many tort and breach of contract cases where compensation was sought.
Markku is an Authorized Business Mentor, who can help startups by providing consultation.
Our arbitration team is headed by Markku as he has taken the arbitration education by The Finland Chamber of Commerce. Markku has assisted his clients in many arbitration proceedings ranging from disputes with contractual obligations in construction projects to agency and reseller agreements. Markku has also acted as guardian ad litem in cases arbitration cases under the Limited Companies Act where he has defended the rights of minority shareholders.
Arbitration proceedings where Markku has been involved with have followed e.g. Finland arbitration Institute rules, Stockholm Chamber of Commerce rules and Arbitration Act of Finland.
Estate administration and probate along with other family and inheritance law matters are also Markku’s strengths. He has been involved in the most challenging assignments our firm has had.
